Code Of Conduct
# 1. General:
1. There must be a friendly interaction among all users!
Disputes have to be clarified outside of the board, if not you risk to get banned!
2. On Music Mix Djs any kind of advertising totally prohibited! However, your personal Blogs, MySpace, Facebook and any other social network groups are fine.
3. Spamming and bumping is not allowed and will be edited without further notices!
4. Double accounts are absolutely prohibited; the staff will ban them all immediately!
5. You always have to follow the staff instructions!
6. Pornographic, racist or politically inappropriate topics are forbidden and the author will be banned without further notices!
# 2. Upload:
1. Please write the thread title always neatly, example: Dizze Rascal - Bonkers (DIY, Studio, Clean, and Dirty). Please use the [*downlink][*/downlink] tags when you add your urls, it should look like this [*downlink]www.yourlink.com[*/downlink] remember to remove the *'s from the tags.
2. Irrelevant details in the thread title like "hot", "exclusive", etc. are also pointless!
3. Each user may upload as many files as they wish.
# 3. Download:
1. Please leave constructive comments & feedback.
Every registrated user may download as much as he wants, but please notice that a forum depends on comments and of each user’s activity! A short "thanks" showing a lot appreciation for the effort of the uploader. This should not be too much to ask...HUH!
# 4. Other:
1. Members who have been registered for a minimum of 6 weeks and not made any forum activity will have their accounts deleted. This helps us keep a clean database that is easy to manage.
2. Members who have been registered for 1 month and have not made a single post and considered to us as a potential leecher will be banned for 7 days. If the member(s) continue to leech on their return. Then he/she will be banned via IP & Email address for good!
3. Signature: There are maximum two signatures allowed with each height of max. 500 pixels.
Signatures that do not correspond to our guidelines will be edited without further notices!
4. Adding your site to our Dj Directory is open to anyone with a "music oriented" site. You must place our code on your "FrontPage" or "index page" of your site/forum. (The code is supplied with your email confirmation)
By reading and writing a comment you automatically accept and have to follow the rules listed above!

You can now post and preview your audio files that are hosted on Mediafire, Zippyshare and any other free hosting site in your topics/posts.
All you do is copy the correct url and paste it between the [smp3][/smp3] tags. To get the working url, you need to copy the shourtcut from you final download page. When you right click the "Download Now" link, "Copy Shortcut" and paste it between the tags. Sometimes there are timers you have to wait for, but its still the same theory.
I like using this function for acapellas & instrumetals that are upload on Mediafire & Zippyshare, it gives the user the chance to sample the file(s) before downloading, even more so if the file(s) are DIY versions, as some DIYs are very poor.
Soundcloud BBcode
You can now post your Soundcloud tracks directly into your topics/posts using the "Soundcloud" bbcode.
To do this, simply copy the url/link of your Soundcloud track and paste it between the [soundcloud][/soundcloud] tags. This will allow other members to listen to your tracks from your post.

Hello everyone, I hail from the U.S. in Louisiana and I call myself “the greater good”. I have been involved in music since kindergarten with learning how to play the recorder – from there I went on to learn violin and wrote my first violin concerto at the age of 13. I progressed from there to continue learning the clarinet, bassoon, French horn, flute, and percussion by the time I graduated high school. I traded in all my instruments in for a nice computer and tons of software and have been hooked on mixing ever since.
Influences: Skinny Puppy, Thrill Kill Kult, PigFace, Godflesh, The Smiths, Morrissey, the Cure, God Lives Underwater, Prick, NIN, REVco, All genres that fall under “Classical”, and so forth and so on. As you can tell I love music but the darker and more experimental side of it is more the realm I like. My philosophy in music is this: “Music doesn’t have to be pretty; but what it must do is make a statement.”
My style these days is just as varied as my taste in music. The genres I primarily mix in are: Electro, Drum and Bass, Downtempo, and Breaks. I try to incorporate some traditional instruments in the majority of mixes I do; however they can be manipulated into something that sounds new.
